Tasting Rome by Katie Parla and Kristina Gill was a cookbook I couldn’t wait to get. Needless to say it did not disappoint. I really enjoy the stories and history spread out through the book. I’m really looking forward to trying some of the recipes. I love the fact that they are authentic. I really like the variety that is presented.
There are eight sections in the book which are:
Snacks, starters, and Street food
Classics and variations
Bread and Pizza
Some of the dishes I’m looking forward to trying are:
Fried and marinated zucchini
Cacio e Pepe
I’ve really enjoyed the book so far. I would recommend it to any level of cook. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review from the blogging for books program.
